Antecedentes

Water is a vital resource increasingly threatened by climate change, pollution, and overuse. To address this issue, Bahçeşehir College, in collaboration with BAU Logistics management, TEMA, and CIFAL, organized an awareness event for students.  The event featured a presentation by a BAU faculty member on the importance of water and sustainable usage, utilizing educational materials provided by TEMA. It aimed to raise students' awareness about water conservation, global water challenges, and responsible consumption. The session concluded with a gift distribution by CIFAL and a group photo.  This initiative supported the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).

Objetivos del evento

Raise awareness about the global water crisis. Promote the correct and conscious use of water. Help students understand current water-related issues. Draw attention to climate change, careless water consumption, and other environmental challenges. Encourage students to take action for sustainable water use

Contenido y estructura

At the event, a faculty member from the BAU Department of Logistics Management (name to be determined) delivered a presentation on the importance of water, using materials provided by TEMA. At the end of the event, gifts provided by CIFAL were distributed to the students. The event concluded with a group photo.

Metodología

The event was delivered through an informative and engaging presentation. Visual aids and real-life examples supported the content. Student interaction was encouraged to enhance awareness and understanding.
