This e-learning course is developed in English and Chinese and consists of four modules, including overall learning objectives, as well as learning objectives specific to each module. Throughout the lessons, participants are presented with formative “test your knowledge” questions to check comprehension of the concepts, examples and tools presented. The modules also comprise open-ended discussions (not graded) offered through the lesson section of the learning platform to reflect on the topics and share their experiences.

The modules are further enriched by a diverse layer of real-world testimony provided through expert recorded webinars. For example, in the Module 1 - 3, high-level specialists from the UN system will join with us in the webinars to bring their UN case studies. Similarly, in the Module 4, Enterprises Actions and Youth Engagements, we will invite various speakers of responsible corporates and youth leaders to share their own sustainable stories. Moreover, we will have a special section, Local Youth Voices, to hear their expectations of sustainability.

To assess the effectiveness of the course and the knowledge and skills acquired, each module will have ex-ante and ex-post summative assessments. Learners will answer 3-4 questions at the start of each module to help get a baseline of the learner’s knowledge level to be able to compare with results after taking the module. These will not be graded, nor will there be feedback. Following the module, they will take a 20-question graded assessment that includes the questions they encountered at the beginning.
为了评估课程的有效性以及学习者获得的知识和技能，每个课程模块都将进行课前和课后的评估测试。学习者将在每个课程模块开始前回答3-4个问题，以帮助建立学习者的知识水平基线，以便与完成模块后的结果进行比较。这些问题不会计分，也不会提供反馈。在课程结束之后，参与者将进行总共20个问题的课后测验，其中包括参与者在课前测试的问题。
For this course to be the most rewarding and to teach you lessons that can be applied in your daily work, we recommend that you do not rush through the modules and complete a module in one sitting. Rather, you will better absorb the material by spending at least 3-4 days per module and stretching out the course over 4 weeks.

The course is free, and participants who complete the programme will receive a joint Certificate of Completion from UNITAR and Shanghai Climate Week.
