The course is based on the promotion and enhancement of the concept of slow tourism, an alternative tourism choice in contrast to mass tourism. The main objective of slow tourism is to develop the tourist’s greater personal awareness by enhancing sustainability.
TransformAção is a flagship initiative by ENGIE Brasil Energia, carried out through its Salto Santiago and Salto Osório Hydroelectric Plants. Now in its third edition, the project is designed to foster leadership among students from municipal, state, and private schools in the regions surrounding these facilities.
The aim of this course is to assess the health and nutritional status of different groups in society. The methods used to evaluate the nutrition and health status of the general population as well as specific groups (such as pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, school-age children, etc.) will be discussed in detail.
The course aims to provide students with knowledge and skills regarding the basic concepts of Women's Health and Nursing, women's health indicators and needs, and the holistic approach to protecting and promoting women's health. It covers topics such as pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care, family planning, and reproductive health practices.
By the end of this course, students will have learned the fundamental steps of generating electricity from wind energy. The operating mechanisms of wind turbines and the impact of various parameters affecting wind speed on energy output will be examined. Additionally, the course will cover the economic aspects of wind energy systems.
