A national strategic plan for tuberculosis (TB) is a key document that guides national authorities and stakeholders in comprehensively addressing the TB epidemic through interventions both within and beyond the health sector.
This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to take part in national strategic planning for TB.
Antecedentes
The course explains the rationale for developing a national strategic plan for TB and highlights key global developments that have informed the approaches to developing a national strategic plan.
The course describes the process for developing a national strategic plan for TB and explains the six phases of development. It will also walk you through the proposed structure of a national strategic plan for TB.

explain the key principles and rationale for developing national strategic planning for tuberculosis that is aligned with WHO guidelines and international commitments;

explain the role of strategic planning in national efforts to end TB;

describe the good practices for TB strategic planning;

outline the process for developing a TB strategic plan to end TB;

describe the key steps for developing national strategic planning for tuberculosis; and

outline the structure and components of a tuberculosis strategic plan.
