This course aims to build an understanding of the importance of States’ Action Plans to address CO2 emissions from the international aviation sector. By establishing close cooperation among all stakeholders, it will help facilitate the selection, adoption and implementation of the most appropriate measures to reduce the CO2 emissions. 

Lors de sa 21e session, la Conférence des Parties à la CCNUCC (COP-21) a souligné l'importance d'accélérer la planification et la mise en oeuvre des mesures d'adaptation. En août 2017, 152 Parties à la Convention sur 197 avaient soumis leurs premières contributions nationales à la CCNUCC, dont 102 comportaient une composante adaptation, la majorité étant des pays en développement.
