Neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) can cause significant disabilities and even death. These diseases affect more than 1.6 billion people worldwide, primarily among the most vulnerable communities. Access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services plays a critical role in the prevention, management, and care of NTDs.

Air transport plays a critical role in sustainable development, supporting economic and social activities globally. However, environmental concerns remain a challenge, particularly in reducing CO₂ emissions. The MATSM aims to address these issues by training professionals in sustainable air transport management, aligning with the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

CIFAL Honolulu put on a research sprint grant for those interested in researching an SDG-related problem. Projects must address an SDG related question using research methods in any discipline. Mentorship will be available to help you design and implement your project.
