The objective was to commemorate the 400-year history of the Consular Institution in Málaga, recognizing its role in promoting international relations.
Arrière plan
The celebration of the Solemn Academic Ceremony of Recognition and Honors, organized by the Consular Corps of Málaga in collaboration with the Aula de Mecenazgo, was an event of great historical significance, as it commemorated four centuries of diplomatic work in the city and highlighted the legacy of century-old institutions that have contributed to the development of Málaga. It took place at the Edgar Neville Auditorium of the Málaga Provincial Council, where a prominent representation of the diplomatic corps, civil and military authorities, as well as personalities from the academic and business sectors, gathered.

The event featured the special participation of His Excellency General Amador Enseñat y Berea, Chief of the Army Staff, who delivered the keynote lecture titled: "Security in the European Union."
