This interactive session will explore how the United Nations operates and how multilateral diplomacy adapts amid today’s global transformations. Participants will gain a practical understanding of how negotiations unfold at the UN, learning key tools for consensus-building and effective engagement in multilateral settings. The discussion will also reflect on the Organization’s upcoming 80th anniversary and ongoing reform efforts (including UN80)—addressing how Member States are working to modernize the UN system, strengthen multilateralism, and ensure its relevance for future generations.
