CIFAL Lebanon is excited to announce its third webinar "Advancing the Green Economy: Sustainable Supply Chains". This event is part of a series of webinars that will explore sustainability initiatives in support of the SDGs. 

York University’s Office of Sustainability is working on improving sustainability efforts and minimizing inefficiencies across their campuses. The Office of Sustainability aims to use drone technology to create thermal maps of the campuses to find buildings that are inefficient and poorly insulated. 

CAN-CWiC is the premiere Canadian computing conference for young women and non-binary people in technology. 

CIFAL Honolulu in partnership with the United Nations Association chapter at Chaminade University celebrated United Nations Day by throwing a festival! There were local businesses, non-profit organizations, and cultural clubs present to spread awareness of their sustainability initiatives. 

The 7th Voka Day of Sustainable Entrepreneurship, organised in collaboration with CIFAL Flanders, celebrated the achievements of Flemish companies advancing sustainability through the PCA2030 Trajectory. This event recognised 91 companies as SDG Pioneers and SDG Champions for their commitment to sustainable development.

The annual Disaster and Emergency Management conference takes place at the end of each October. Relevant academic and professionals present on their latest work and research related to emerging DEM themes.

The adoption of corporate governance best practices is a priority. These include issues relating to the the profile of executives and non-executives potential conflicts of interest diversity and communication, complemented by performance and reputation and adopt the concepts of ESG - Environment, Social and Governance.

The 23rd Annual Astronaut Lacy Veach Day of Discovery was hosted by Hawaiʻi Space Grant Consortium to bring together schools, organizations, industry professionals to share their knowledge of STEM, learning, and spark inspiration in younger generations.

The Institute for Human Services is a non-profit organization in Hawaiʻi that serves the homeless populations by offering various services. CIFAL Honolulu partners with them by helping restore the land by gardening and landscaping. We have adopted a garden bed and plan to revitalize the area to promote wellness through ʻāina work. SDG 3 and 15 focused!
